Bridget Mulvey

Science Education

Mulvey is an assistant professor of science education at Kent State University. She holds a master's degree in geology from Indiana University at Bloomington and a Ph.D. in education from the University of Virginia. She taught science for 10 years at the K-12 and undergraduate levels and is interested in broadening access and participation in science. Her research focuses on teachers and students: (1) doing science inquiry; (2) understanding more about the characteristics of science knowledge and inquiry; and (3) use of technology to support the doing of science and/or promoting science content understandings.
